These days, concrete looks great indoors or out. Concrete and steel are welcome partners for a modern look. Because the concrete is poured and shipped separate from the frame it can be made in multiple pieces for larger tables. Concrete can be finished with different sheens and treatments, some of which I am still experimenting with. Be sure to ask what the latest options are. Concrete finishes determine their resistance to stain, so be sure and choose what look is appropriate for your level of use. Concrete tops are not recommended for earthquake preparedness.
